Position Title: Table Game Floor Supervisor
Department: Casino
Reports To: Table Game Manager
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: The Table Game Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising all gaming activity within the Table Games Pit. Responsible for the creation of player accounts and player ratings, the protection of Casino assets and the integrity of the gaming tables; observes dealers to ensure compliance with Table Games policy and procedures. Ensures that excellent customer service is continually being provided within the Pit area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
Protects all gaming activities within the Table Games area.
Works closely with the Table Games Manager to implement and oversee overall strategies for customer service, comping, games layout and mix, revenue growth, and expense management.
Observes and corrects errors in policy and procedures in order to preserve the integrity of the game.
Provides exceptional customer service by interfacing with players and dealers.
Aids the Table Games manager in rendering decisions in any customer dispute or related problems.
Ensures that games move at an appropriate pace.
Ensures compliance with casino wide and Human resources policies and procedures.
Acts as a role model for Team Members under your supervision by focusing on the demonstration of positive action, behavior, attendance, work ethic and guest service.
Supervisors should maintain a professional relationship with Team Members under their supervision on and off duty.
Protects the confidentiality of any and all StoneWolf Casino business information.
Responsible for communication within the department ensuring that information is shared with Team Members.
Meets with guests to resolve guest concerns.
Provides friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
Reviews the performance, productivity, and efficiency of team members and communicate with the Table Games Manager.
Opens and closes games, assign personnel, inspect cards, monitor player ratings, and maintain proper table chip inventory.
Responsible for all pit activities. Effectively manage table limits.
Reports daily gaming activity to appropriate leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Ability to work variable hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of at least 1 year table games experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain gaming license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, vendors, managers, and customers. Ability to write routine correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to distinguish winning/losing combinations and settle wagers accordingly.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must maintain professional behavior and possess exceptional customer and employee service skills at all times. Basic keyboarding and office skills are preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and will be required to frequently walk and communicate with customer (talking and listening). The employee will frequently interact with other staff members. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
