Position Title: Valet Attendant

Department: Valet

Reports To: Security/Safety Manager


FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt


SUMMARY: Provides a positive experience to guests by valet parking vehicles in a safe manner and exercising a high level of customer service.



  • Responsible for the parking and retrieval of guests’ vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Greets guests as they enter the casino valet area, quickly secures their keys and provides them with a claim tag.
  • Complete vehicle inspection forms, noting any existing marks, dents or damage to the vehicle.
  • Safely maneuvers guest’s cars into parking locations per enterprise policy and procedure.
  • Ability to operate all transmission styles (standard, automatic, stick shift) safely.
  • Informs customers about any special events, promotions or other information about the property.
  • Assists with key dispatch functions as assigned.
  • Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other special projects and duties assigned.




QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Five-year motor vehicle report and criminal background check required. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, physical stamina, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, emergency instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before parents, staff and students.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to handle the stress of a security position.

The employee must be in excellent physical condition and be able to sprint a ¼ mile several times per shift. The employee is continuously required to walk, stand, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to bend, stoop, reach, twist and grip. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus while operating a motor vehicle.
